The clinicians at Hope Restored Counseling are experienced, compassionate professional counselors committed to providing trauma-informed, ethical, and culturally responsive care. Our team works collaboratively to support children (ages 10 and up), adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating life’s challenges.
Each counselor brings specialized training and experience in areas including trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, depression, adjustment-related concerns, marital problems, and substance use counseling. We approach care with openness and respect, creating a warm, non-judgmental space where participants feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence and hope.

Ami Williams, LPC-S, LSATP, CPSC
Founder & Owner, Professional Counselor
Ami Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) with a passion for helping individuals restore hope and live meaningful, healthy lives. She brings extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment-related challenges, psychiatric crisis, substance use concerns, and serious mental illness.
Ami is trauma-trained and practices from a solution-focused, culturally responsive, and person-centered framework. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused interventions, and Motivational Interviewing. When working with couples or individuals seeking premarital counseling, Ami utilizes Prepare/Enrich tools to support healthy relationship development. Christian faith-based counseling interventions are thoughtfully integrated when requested.

Lisa Smith, LMHP-R
Professional Counselor, Resident
Lisa Smith is a professional counselor resident with over 17 years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked across diverse clinical settings supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, substance use concerns, grief, and life transitions.
Lisa’s therapeutic approach is integrative and strengths-based, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
With extensive experience working with youth and families, Lisa specializes in emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, ADHD-related challenges, self-esteem development, and strengthening family communication. She also supports individuals in recovery and those processing grief and significant life changes.
Known for her warm and engaging style, Lisa works collaboratively with clients to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and foster resilience to support healthier, more balanced lives.
